Creating the Path to Success in the Classroom by 
First Generation Entry into Higher Education by Critical Conversation with Dennis Denman, Director of Student Leadership, Seattle Central College
The presenter shares their college student experiences, the feelings of failure, anxiety, and imposter-ism but somehow managed to graduate. That "somehow" had to do with supportive instructors in classes and involvement in Student Support Services (#TRIO works). Participants will "zoom away" with teaching strategies, student support systems, and tips for navigating higher ed that sometimes forgets what it means to be the first to go to college.
