Description: APALA was founded in May 1992, making this year its 30th Anniversary. Panelists discuss their collaboration on the book Asian American Workers Rising: APALA'S Struggle to Transform the Labor Movement, how the book documents the history of APALA leaders/activists, and the impact it has made in the Labor Movement. Panelists will also discuss the Young Leaders Council (YLC) and opportunities for students/youth to become involved in APALA and the labor movement.
