Why student voices matter in the OER movement

Student voices are the most important in the advocacy for affordable textbooks. Being the group most affected by rising textbook prices, their perspectives, stories, and lived experiences are the most convincing in articulating the educational equity that could be achieved by choosing free or low-cost textbooks.
