This guide will help you to find, read, cite, edit and present images.

Finding Visual Sources

In addition to the selections below, we have other databases that include images. Go to the Advanced Search option of the database and look for phrases like "limit to document with images" or "Include images," etc.

Images in a book?

Say you are looking for images by a particular artist and you've found a book about that artist in the library catalog. How can you tell whether the book contains images?

Below is an example of a cookbook. Does it contain images or illustrations? Yes! [col. ill] And at least some of them are in color!
