Equipment for Individual Use - Provided in the Library

Students can borrow equipment from the library checkout desk.  Available equipment: 

  • Chromebooks (requires wifi access) (7-Day Loan) 
  • PC Laptops (in-library use only) 
  • Pocket Video Recorders (1080p) with tripod 
  • Graphing calculators (3-hour loan) 
  • Standard phone charging cables for iPhone and Android 

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff can borrow media equipment and get assistance in the TLC.  Available equipment:  

  • Laptop Computers for a short-term loan

  • Classroom clickers 
  • Instructional recording equipment: still and video cameras, tripods, video transfer equipment

IT Services provides standard backup equipment for classroom use.  Available equipment:

  • Data projectors  

  • TV monitors 

  • Document cameras / ELMOs

Media Equipment for Classrooms and Events - Provided by IT Services

IT Services provides delivery and set-up for events that require amplifiers, microphones, and speakers. Requests for events must be made in advance. Delivery requests with advance notice have priority. IT Services staff may not be able to deliver orders requested on short notice. Available equipment:

  • Sound systems  
  • Microphones 
Recording and Production Guidance 
  • IT Services will provide guidance for recording events but users must arrange for staff to monitor/operate recording equipment.  

  • TLC staff can provide limited assistance with converting and uploading recordings to YouTube. Note that recordings will need captions in order to be accessible.
