Overview

The GRE (Graduate Records Examination) is the world's most widely used admission test for graduate and professional school. 

  • The GRE General Test features question types from the following categories. 
    • Verbal Reasoning
    • Quantitative Reasoning
    • Analytical Writing
  • The GRE is administered either by computer or by paper.
    • The overall testing time for the computer-delivered GRE General test is about 3 hours and 45 minutes. There are six sections with a 10-minute break following the third section.
    • The overall testing time for the paper-delivered GRE General test is about 3 hours and 30 minutes. There are six sections with a 10-minute break following the second section.
